Bird, Bridge, Brooklyn

I miss New York. I still remember it was my first two days back in Singapore and for a moment, I mistook falling leaves as snow when I was on a bus on my way to work. I know it sounds funny, almost ludicrous. But somehow I always lapse into these moments of “Where am I?” and by default, I’m back to New York. I had a lot of these moments in my first year. Now, New York only appears in my dreams.

It was New Year Eve 2008, perhaps somewhere South Street Sea Port, Pier 17. I can almost feel the cold wind on my face and the taste of see in the air. I still have a lot of unpublished pictures of New York which I will slowly release on this website. Enjoy them, while I continue to reminisce…
